After a controversial finals of the Miss Malaika 2011 beauty pageant at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday November 5, 2011, prizes for all ten finalists and winners of the pageant has been officially presented to beauty queens.

Even though a section of the public and the media questioned the credibility of the organizers, after 22-year-old Gerry Partington was crowned Miss Malaika 2011 because they believe first runner-up Alex deserved the crown, it seems the dust has now settled and the queens happily received their respective prizes in the studios of GH One Entertainment TV on Wednesday January 11, 2012.

The winner of Miss Makaika 2011 Geraldine Partington received a one year supply of ATL Inspiration Fabrics, a hamper from UB hair products. Gh¢ 6,000.00 Cash prize and a return Air Ticket from AIR Namibia to either of the following destinations; South Africa or Namibia, crowning it up with a brand new KIA CERATO CAR from KIA -RANA MOTORS.

The First runner up Alexandra Ayirebi-Acquah received a set of living room Furniture from Simbim’s Furniture, a hamper from UB hair products and ATL Inspiration Fabrics, cash prize of GH¢ 2,000.00 prize and a return Air Ticket from AIR Namibia to either of the following destinations; South Africa or Namibia.

For her prize, second runner up Deborah ‘Smallie’ Lomotey received a set of Dining Room Furniture from Simbim’s Furniture, a hamper from UB hair products and ATL Inspiration Fabrics, cash prize of GH¢ 1,500.00 prize and a return Air Ticket from AIR Namibia to either of the following destinations; South Africa or Namibia.

Other prizes were presented to the 4th to 10th contestants who received GH¢ 1, 000.00 cash prize with Hampers form UB, hair products and Fabrics form ATL Inspiration. Plus, all the final 10 delegates received a return ticket each from AIR NAMIBIA to either South Africa or Namibia.
