Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin, Okyenhene returned a net score of 65 to win the Group ‘B’ Division of the Achimota Golf Club monthly medal competition played at Achimota in Accra, on Saturday.
Osagyefo Ofori Panin, who played a back of 42, and a front of 41 with a handicap of 18, will now be playing to a new handicap of 16.
He was followed by Abodi Klenn with 66 net while Kofi Ofori Boateng took the third position with 68 net.
In the Group ‘’A’’ segment, Kofi Kusi Boateng came first with 71 net, beating Sherlock Quinton and Sowah Oddoye on count-backs.
The Ladies encounter was won by Jessica Tei with 70 net, Esther Amedzro placed second with 71 net while Nana Bema Tackie took the third position with 73 net.
The one-day 18-Hole Medal Play which was sponsored by the club, attracted 100 golfers.
Frank Adu Jnr, Captain of the Achimota Golf Club urged the members to contribute meaningfully towards the development of the sport.
