The Ghana Federation of the Disabled (GFD) will on Tuesday, November 24, organise the National Disability Sports Forum (NSDF) as part of efforts to promote disability sports in Ghana.
A statement from the GFD signed by Rita Kyeremaa Kusi, said the forum is to discuss and develop a strategy that will guide various stakeholders in the field of sports to promote the mainstreaming of disability sports.
It added that, the forum, which is expected to attract about 40 participants from various stakeholders it also expected to map out strategies to strengthen Disability Sports Associations in the country.
The forum, fixed for the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) Hall, will attract resource persons from the National Paralympic Committee (NPC), the National Sports Authority (NSA), the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), the Sports Writer Association of Ghana (SWAG) among others.
