The FIFA/CAF Liaison team has refuted claims that chaos is brewing in the camp of the national Under 20 male team, Black Satellites.

The team was reported to be on hot fire as conflict reigned about who the rightful person occupying the position of the Team Physician is.

According to a statement issued by a member of the FIFA/CAF Liaison team, Francis Oti-Akenteng, and copied to Peacefmonline.com; "no such confusion has ever existed...the two medical doctors involved in this matter ie. Dr. Adams Baba and Dr. Prince Pambo enjoy a good working relationship, both in the football industry and their normal professional activities..."

The team seeks to clarify issues to soccer fans and the general public, explaining that "Dr. Adams Baba is the team Physician assigned to the Black Satellites. Dr. Baba as a result of his heavy work requested Dr. Pambo, who is the team Physician of the CHAN team, to hold the mantle as Doctor for Black Satellites during its qualification matches. Let us state here that this is not the first time such an arrangement has taken place.

"On Friday, July 27, 2018, the Liaison team met both Doctors on the issues already discussed above, and the points listed in item 1 and 2 were confirmed by both well established medical doctors".

"They have both expressed shock and disbelief about the untruths being peddled in the media" and have asked the general public to disregard the rumors.
