Ghana defender John Pantsil made his debut for Leicester City on Saturday, three weeks after joining the English Championship side.
The right-back was released by Premier league side Fulham at the end of last season which prompted his move to Leicester.
A work permit issue ruled him out of the Championship opener against Coventry last week. He missed the midweek Carling Cup tie at Rotherham as he was away on international duty with Ghana.
But he played the first game for his new club on Saturday as they lost 2-0 at home to Reading. Pantsil played the entire duration of the game at the King Power Stadium.
