Striker Alex Asamoah has agreed a three-year deal with Algerian side Entente Setif, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
But the North African side will to reach an agreement with his local side Asante Kotoko whose officials are in Serbia on pre-season.
The 25-year-old who is currently in Setif passed a medical last week but his contract with Kotoko runs out in October this year.
Asamoah is expected to cost the 1988 African champions 60,000 Euros and the player will earn a monthly salary of 6,000 euros.
He rejoined Kotoko last season after a one-year loan spell at South Korean side Gyeongnam FC.
Asamoah was Ghana Premier League top scorer with 16 goals for the 2008/2009 season.
