Asante Kotoko have transfer-listed nine players as the club seek to cut down on expenditure.

Experienced right-full back Aziz Ansah, Edward Affum and Prince Boateng are the biggest names on the list released by the club on Monday night.

Youngster Haruna Abdul Ganiyu, Samuel Apraku, George Arthur, Prince Anokye, Alhassan Wadudo Ozoro and Samuel Apraku Frimpong are being shown the exit door.

The Kumasi-based club says they are open to start negotiations with any club which will show interest.

“Meanwhile the club is prepared to discuss offers for players (Prince, Aziz Ansah, Ozoro, Frimpong, Prince Boateng, Edward Affum, Ganiyu),” a statement from the club read.

“The club is also in the process of reorganizing its youth team and the necessary recruitment exercise is ongoing. The public would be informed of the outcome as soon as the process is completed.”
