Nania FC midfielder Prince Baffoe slotted home the match winner after 51 minutes. The Meteors will face South Africa for the gold medal on Sunday.
On 79 minutes, goalkeeper Daniel Agyei stretched to deny a dangerous free-kick and Cameroon missed a tap-in few minutes afterwards. Substitute Nurudeen Ali squandered a glorious scoring opportunity after beating the Cameroon goalkeeper but his shot at goal was cleared from entering the post.
Striker Fiamenyo failed to connect the rebound with his head. Earlier on Wednesday, Ghana�s female team beat Algeria 3-0 to set up a final date with Cameroon on Saturday.
