Goalkeeper Sammy Adjei has not given up on his ambitions to chart his way back into the Black Stars. The former Moaden Ashdod net minder returned to the domestic league last term to revive his career.

He made an impact in Heartsí faltering campaign and was named in Ghanaís home-based national team that at this yearís CHAN tournament in Sudan.

Adjei was invited by head coach Goran Stevanovic in June qualifier against Congo but never made it to the bench.

The 31-year-old is refusing to give up and says getting back into the Black Stars dominates his wish list for the season.

ďI just want to get back and play football for Ghana. Thatís what Iíve done for a long time but itís been taken away from me. Iíve missed it,Ē Adjei said.

ďIíve helped them get better and I hope that will happen again when I get back to the team again,Ē he added.
