Ghanaian teenage prodigy Christian Atsu Twasam has been named the Best Young Player for FC Porto for the 2010/2011 season.
The 19-year-old received the award on Tuesday in the Golden People�s Award by the Portuguese giants.
The former Cheetah FC player was promoted to the Porto senior side by now Chelsea coach Andre Villas-Boas and sat on the bench in last season�s final game against Maritimo.
Brazilian star striker Hulk, Joao Moutinho and James Rodr�guez also received awards.
Atsu told MTNFootball.com he is delighted to be named about the galaxy of stars at the Estadio do Dragao.
�I�m very happy with this award. For me it shows that I can become a better player in the future and need to work harder,� he said.
He has now been farmed out to Rio Ave until the end of the season.
Atsu won the best player of the Blue Stars/FIFA Youth Cup in June.
