Maxwell Konadu, Head Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has challenged his players to win the 2011/2012 Glo Premiership.
The former rasta-haired player of Kotoko and Upper West Heroes said the players must be focused and maintain their form in order to consolidate their position on the league.
He was of the conviction that the Oseikrom team had the materials and capability to win the league for the 22nd time.
Kotoko are currently lying first on the league table though sharing the same points with arch rivals Hearts of Oak. They have been impressive so far in the league with their lead marksman Ahmed Toure firing on all cylinders.
The coach said the players must not lose their focus and be complacent since the league has just begun.
Known for his strong tactical play, Coach Konadu emphasized that the Porcupine Warriors will take every match seriously so as to secure all the three points.
Kotoko last won the premiership in 2009 and will next play bogey side Heart of Lions in a cagey Week 4 game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
