Ghana defender John Pantsil has left English second-tier side Leicester City after having his contract cancelled by mutual agreement after just one season with the club.
The 30-year-old defender joined the Foxes last summer on a three-year deal having left Fulham at the end of his stay at Craven Cottage.
But he has managed just five starts and two substitute appearances in total, the last of which came in mid-October.
Leicesters official website read: Johns departure will see him become a free agent and he leaves City with the best wishes of everyone at the football club.
Pantsil had already re-iterated his desire to leave the club in the summer.
He has been linked with Belgian side Anderlecht and a host of clubs in Qatar and UAE.
