Former coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Cecil Jones Attuquayefio has cautioned Black Stars coach, Kwesi Appiah and his deputy, Maxwell Konadu to stand firm to avoid any hitches in their partnership.
Appiah who is the first local coach to lead the team on permanent basis in the last ten years has been tasked to win the 2013 nations cup and also reach the semi final of the 2014 FIFA world cup in Brazil.
The partnership has been described as the best on the local scene after the duo led the Black Meteors to win Gold at the All Africa games in Mozambique.
Attuquayefio, the one-time Black Stars coach who has been battling throat cancer in the last three and half years is confident Appiah and Konadu will win laurels for Ghana.
I personally believe the two coaches will live up to the billing the 67 year old coach said adding I am very pleased about their partnership and will pray they excel but I want to caution them because there are people around who will want to destroy their partnership.
