As speculation grows about the future of Charles Akunnor at the helm of Hearts, the rumours of in-fighting have gotten credence from the club's recently resigned physical trainer.

Warrant Officer Tandoh has blasted the current management of the club, accusing them of throwing dust into the eyes of fans.

Tandoh, a physical trainer of military training, noted that the blame of Hearts head coach Charles "C.K." Akunnor for the club’s current poor form is very misplaced. "C.K Akunnor is a fine young coach so they should leave him alone. All the players were imposed on him," Tandoh told Citi FM.

The club's pre-season made headlines for the wrong reasons, as veteran midfielder Laryea Kingston had a spat with Akunnor. But Tandoh revealed that player imposition was quite an issue: "Even when we were returning from our pre-season tour of Sekondi, they called Akunnor on the bus to add a player to his team, ask them how many times that player has played this season."
The Crentsil factor

After three losses, a draw and a win in five games, there have been increasing calls for Hearts to be fired. Tandoh, however, maintains that former Hearts chief executive Fred Crentsil should be blamed for the poor recruitment in preseason.

"How was Owusu Sefa sold? Why were Bobie Ansah and Nzemaba sold? They under declare the true value of players and they want to implicate other people for their own inadequacies," the former physical trainer fired.

He also raised questions about how these, and other quality former players were sold without the input of the coach.
