Ghana coach Akwasi Appiah believes Isaac Vorsah is ready to play in the crucial 2014 World Cup qualifier against Sudan despite the death of his father.
The 24-year-old lost his dad on Monday night in Accra after a short illness.
Evans Vorsahs death has raised muted concerns the Red Bull Salzburg defender might perhaps not be in the right frame of mind to feature in the must-win game against Sudan on Sunday.
But coach Appiah who is even amazed by the players swift recovery from the devastating news of his fathers death is convinced the player is ready to play after fully taking part in the teams first training session on Tuesday.
Actually we heard it (death of Vorsahs father) yesterday evening and I spoke to him today, Appiah told MTNFootball.com.
I was thinking of even allowing him to rest today but he said no he wanted to train.
They (players) are people who always think of their nation first and for him to train today is a sign of someone who wants to kill himself for the nation.
