Egyptian side Ismaily and Nigeria's Enugu Rangers will play in the 2013 Ghana President Cup, Ghana Sports can confirm.
GHALCA, organisers of the President Cup have reached a deal with the two clubs to play in the July 1 games slated for the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi and the Accra Sports Stadium.
However, GHALCA says it is yet to take a decision on which two Ghanaian clubs that will participate in this years President Cup.
This situation therefore questions Kotoko's decision to withdraw from the July 1 competition.
Though Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are widely tipped to play in the President Cup but GHALCA insists the two will not be automatically be selected.
"But even if Kotoko have said that, we have not taken any decision yet on which two local clubs will be playing in the competition," GHALCA vice President Isaac Koomson revealed.
Berekum Chelsea beat Asante Kotoko 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium to lift last's year's trophy.
