The mandate of Kotoko’s Executive chairman Dr Kofi Kodua Sarpong will be renewed by two more years.

Dr Sarpong’s official three-year mandate was completed last Friday but will be asked to continue for a further two years for his work ethics.

The former Tema Oil Refinery boss came under massive pressure in months past following the side’s shock exit from the CAF Champions League.

But he seems to have warmed his way into the heart of the supporters again and will be rewarded with a two-year renewable mandate.

He is also given credit for finally getting the club’s multi-purpose building project for players and technical staff at Adako Jachie.
