Ex- Kotoko chief Herbert Mensah has lauded the leadership qualities of Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi describing him as a ‘great personality’.

The ambitious football administrator has earned massive praise in the West African country after he used his lobbying skills to get some of his compatriots to work with various standing committees at CAF.

Nyantakyi is widely credited for transforming Ghana football with the local league becoming hugely attractive.

The Black Stars have become an attractive global brand after playing in two successive World Cups while his meteoric rise on the continent within a short period of time has amazed many.

The ex-Kotoko chief who was perceived as an avid critic of Nyantakyi’s style of leadership has applauded the Wa-All Stars owner for his work ethics.

“Look I think Kwesi has not done badly. I have criticized him if I thought something was not right.

“But he has done some pretty good job as well as so we should say it. You can’t get a perfect system anywhere. I think he’s a great guy.

“When there is the need to criticize, it will be done constructively not to destroy the person.”

Nyantakyi is regarded by many as the most successful Ghana FA leader having led the country to make their first two appearances at the World Cup
