Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah is predicting his victory over Sudan but admits their hosts will not be pushovers.
The ex-Ghana captain was on the bench when the Black Stars clobbered the Falcons of Jediane 4-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi three months ago.
Appiah watched Sudan draw 0-0 with Tanzania in a friendly played last Sunday in Addis Ababa where the Black Stars camped for five days.
"I have a big respect for Sudan. Even though we beat them 4-0 in our previous meeting, I observed that they are a very formidable side," Appiah told the Ghana FA's website.
"I watched them in a recent friendly match and you can see that they are still a strong side even though they have made some changes in their team.
"But I am confident that the Black Stars will get an important win here which will go a long way in ensuring that we will qualify for the World Cup."
Appiah's only defeat in the World Cup qualifiers is the 1-0 defeat to Zambia in Ndola last June.
