Former Ashgold striker, Shaibu Yakubu is set to undergo medicals at Turkish second tier side,1461 Trabzon in the upcoming days.
According Turkish news outlet, Gazetea24, an agreement has been reached between the club and the one former Ghana Premier league goalking.
Yakubu, 26 has played in Turkey between 2009 and 2010 for Kartaspor and scored 19 goals in 27 appearances.
He will be joining his fellow Ghanaian, Torric Jebrin who is on loan from Trabzonspor.
Yakubu scored 24 goals for Ofi Crete in Cyprus before moving to Enosis Neon Paralimni, where he netted 16 times in 26 appearances.
