Santos coach David Notoane says John Pantsils inclusion is the final piece in their jigsaw as they seek promotion to the South African top-flight.
Notoane believes the vast experience of the Ghana international will be invaluable this season in the National First Division.
Im very, very happy. The quality of the player, the experience of the player is undoubted, and he demonstrated that he will add value in terms of leadership and guidance for the younger ones, Notoane told the clubs official website.
He added: You can see he plays more with his head. Hes a very intelligent player so it gives us the opportunity to look at things differently in terms of our choices in defence and in midfield.
Pantsil is expected to play his first match for the club on Saturday against United FC away.
