President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi will run unopposed in the WAFU Zone B presidential election to be held in Kumasi on Wednesday.
Nyantakyi remains the only person to put his candidature forward for the top post to lead the regional governing body.
If endorsed at the election to be held during the WAFU Zone B Congress, Nyantakyi could extend his mandate as Wafu Zone B president to four years with a proposal to extend the tenure a further two years under consideration.
He was elected in 2011.
