Ghana winger, Andre Ayew suffered a double agony on Friday night after his injury led to his early withdrawal from Olympic Marseille�s 1-0 defeat to Nice at the Stade Velodrome.
Ayew bled excessively after a collision with an opponent, and not even a prompt treatment could keep him on the pitch for long.
The 2009 World U20 gold medallist who was withdrawn in the 44th minute watched his side lose an important home game from the sidelines.
He is expected to pass the fitness test for their next league match.
The defeat however further worsened Marseille�s chances of picking a Uefa Champions League spot.
