A popular AshGold fan in Obuasi has warned the Miners CEO Kudjo Fianoo and head coach Bashir Hayford they will face the wrath of deadly cobras if they continue to stay in charge before the end of the week.
The Shafts (AshGold's official fans group) have been breathing down on the necks of Fianoo and Hayford to quit their roles as CEO and head coach respectively but the duo have been adamant.
But a leading member of leading member of the group Baba Kassim has issued a 3-day ultimatum to the two to resign from their positions and will battle with deadly venomous cobras if they remain in charge at the end of the week.
"We give them before the end of the week and if they don't resign, we will unleash cobras on them," he told Accra-based Asempa FM.
The fans are angry at AshGold's uninspiring performance in the league and want the the coach to quit his role.
