AshantiGold has been banned from participating in the FA Cup for one year.
The club has also been fined five thousand (5,000) cedis for refusing to honour their quarter finals match against Asante Kotoko, citing financial constraint.
The Miners who however, automatically qualifies to play in the competition after serving the ban are also to refund to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) an amount of 1,040 cedis paid by the GFA to the Ghana Police Service in accordance with article 14(2) of the Association's regulations.
AshGold boycotted the match after the FA Cup committee pushed the match venue to Accra, two days before the encounter as a result of a home ban slapped on Kotoko for misconduct.
The club is further fined 250 cedis in accordance with article 23(3b) of the GFA regulation for failing to attend the pre-match meeting on April 13.
Earlier decision by the Disciplinary Committee declared AshGold losers, with Kotoko progressing to the last four with city rivals, King Faisal as their next opponent.
