Ivory Coast stars Yaya and Kolo Toure have learned of the death of their younger brother while they are at the World Cup in Brazil.
Ibrahim Toure,28, passed away on Thursday in Manchester.
The news was confirmed by the Ivory Coast Football Federation.
A statement released by the Ivory Coast Football Federation (FA) says "Kolo and Yaya Toure just heard about the death of their young brother, Toure Oyala Ibrahim. The entire Ivorian delegation want to show their support to the players."
�The president of the Football Ivory Coast Federation (FIF) and the Executive Committee announced to the entire family the death of Toure Oyala Ibrahim, a son and a brother which happened on 19th June in Manchester."
In this sad situation the Ivorian players and the entire delegation in Brazil show their support to the Toure brothers and their whole family.
The 28-year-old passed away in Manchester after losing his battle with cancer. It is understood he was receiving chemotherapy treatment at The Christie.
Kolo and brother Yaya, were told hours after yesterday's game with Colombia of the sad news.
Ibrahim Toure played as a striker for Metalurh Donetsk, Nice, Al-Ittihad, SC Aleppo, Misr El-Maqasah SC, and most recently Al-Safa' SC in the Lebanon.
According to Fox Sports the Toure brothers have left the Ivory Coast training camp Friday afternoon.
