Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari scored his 26th Serie A goal on Saturday evening in AC Milan�s 2-0 thumping over Chievo Verona at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
The 28-year-old who was marking his 250th Serie A appearance opened the scoring for the Rossonari 10 minutes into the second half before Japanese international Kaisuki Honda added the second with just 12 minutes remaining.
The firebrand midfielder powered a shoot from 25 yards which eventually looped unstoppably past Chievo goalkeeper Francesco Bardi.
The Ghanaian international who has remained a key figure in the Milan setup was substituted by compatriot Michael Essien in the 89th minute.
Fellow Ghanaian Isaac Cofie also played 82 minutes for Chievo.
