Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso says his teammates must punch above their weight against Group C leaders Algeria in Friday's crucial encounter.
The Black Stars would press the exit button from the tournament if they suffer another defeat against Les Fennecs after losing 2-1 to Senegal on Monday.
Algeria were 3-1 winners over South Africa in their opener and laid down the gauntlet to other title contenders.
Wakaso, who came on as a second-half substitute, knows they will have to dig deep to deflate the high-flying Algerians.
Algeria are a really good team, and we need to work hard in order to get all six points from the next two games, Wakaso said.
