Captain Asamoah Gyan is set to undergo a late fitness test ahead of the Black Stars 2015 Cup of Nations finals with Cote d Ivoire on Sunday.
Gyan missed out in Ghanas Semi-Final clash with Equatorial Guinea on Thursday after sustaining a hip injury in the teams quarterfinals game with Guinea.
The 29-year-old who has begun slight training with the team will be examined by the medical team today before being confirmed fit for tomorrows game at the Estadio de Bata.
Coach Avram Grant will be hoping to have his front-liner back for the crunch game against Ivory Coast following the strikers inability to feature in the teams last game.
Gyans possible return will serve as a major boost for the Black Stars team who are chasing a fifth Cup of Nations final.
