Ghana U-20 team [Black Satellites] were held to a 2-2 draw by their counterparts from Nigeria in a pre-African Youth Championships friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.
Coach Sellas Tetteh’s side came twice from behind to draw with the Flying Eagles in the first of the two legged friendly.
Midfielder Yahaya Musa shot the visitors into the lead in the 25th minute before Yaw Yeboah equalized from the penalty spot in the 38th minute.
Nigeria striker Chideza Ezeh put his side into the lead for the second time in the game when he smashed home a ball in the Ghanaian 18-yard box to beat goalkeeper Michael Sai in post for Ghana.
Defender Joseph Aidoo drew the Black Satellites level 9 minutes from time as the two sides shared the hounors.
Both Ghana and Nigeria are preparing for the upcoming African Youth Championships in Senegal.
