Black Satellites skipper, Joseph Owusu Bempah is hoping the team continues with their impressive performance against South Africa.
Ghana kick started their African Youth Championships campaign on a bright note after securing an important 2-0 win over Thabo Senong’s side on Monday.
Sellas Tetteh’s side put up a spirited performance to thump their South African counterparts in M’bour.
Owusu Bempah, who played a key role in the victory on Monday, believes the team has more to prove in the tournament hence hoping the team replicates their impressive showing in subsequent games.
“It is good to get the three points, but there is still room for improvement. It is a good sign to play well and create chances. We hope to continue from there,” he told CAFonline.com
The Hearts of Oak right-back could not last the entire duration of the game after sustaining an injury and had to be substituted by Kingsley Fobi in the 62nd minute.
The Black Satellites will now face Zambia in their second Group B fixture on Wednesday at the Stade Carolina Faye.
