Captain Asamoah Gyan missed out of Ghana’s 22-man squad to face Mali and Senegal in the FIFA free-day international friendlies.
The Al Ain striker was left out of the squad due to an injury he sustained whiles in action for his Club.
Black Stars coach Avram Grant thus left his key man out from the squad released for the double-header later this month.
The 29-year-old missed his side’s 1-0 win over Pakhtakor in the Asian Champions League last Wednesday.
He is however doubtful for his side weekend’s League fixture with Emirates.
Ghana take on Senegal in the first FIFA free-day friendly on Saturday March 28 in Le Hevre before facing Mali in Paris three days later.
