Ghana prodigy Christian Atsu has been sidelined for two weeks after picking up an injury at training. Ghanasportsonline.com can reveal.
The 23-year-old who has seen limited playing time at the Toffees since joining from Premier League giants Chelsea.
Atsu will thus miss his side’s League games against Manchester United and Aston Villa and could perhaps return for their League match against Sunderland.
The fleet-footed player has endured a fruitless stint with the Merseyside club and could be making his way out of the Club at the end of the season.
The impressive winger earned lots of praises from his manager Roberto Martinez after his dazzling performance at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations where he was adjudged the player of the tournament.
