Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak are in discussion that could land them a huge kit sponsorship deal with Italian sporting apparel company MACRON.
The deal being negotiated is for shirt sponsorship only, rather than also including other benefits and agreements, a source close to the situation said, without giving any financial details.
Last year, the Phobians were reported to have signed a two-year deal with the Thai-based Sportswear manufacturer firm following successful negotiation between the two parties. Hearts were said to be expecting sets of Jerseys and training kits from the sports equipment company after reaching an agreement.
But Eureka’s Africa and Ghana Representative, Stephen Offei rebuffed the reports and the Phobians have been without a kit sponsor since.
Accra Hearts of Oak have enjoyed relative success in the CAF Confederations Cup and their impressive run could help rubber-stamp the deal
