Black Satellites midfielder Clifford Aboagye is still a doubt for the team’s round of 16 tie with Mali at the ongoing FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand.
Ghana takes on Mali in the first of 1/16 matches at the Willington Regional Stadium on Wednesday.
Aboagye who led the team in their final Group game against Panama was substituted in the second half after picking up a knock.
The 20-year-old according to reports is yet to recover fully for the big game on Wednesday.
The Granada midfielder is said to have missed out in the team’s last two training sessions making him a huge doubt for the game against Mali.
He is however expected to undergo a late fitness test tomorrow before Wednesday’s clash with the Africans.
His absents could be a major blow for head coach Sellas Tetteh after his remarkable performance in the team’s last two games.
