According to today’s edition of L’Équipe, Swansea’s new signing André Ayew received a whopping €8m just as a signing on fee for joining the Premier League side.
Something that Marseille will regret why they couldn't sell the player earlier in order to recoup some of the transfer fee.
Ayew joined Swansea City on a free transfer, signing a four-year contract at the Premier League club.
The 25-year-old has been at Marseille since 2006 but his deal with the Ligue 1 side expired this month.
And it has been reported that the Black Stars winger was paid a whooping 8 million euros by the Welsh club as signing on fee.
