The Phobians legend insists that Ghana Football Association should welcome the news that Avram Grant is being chased by Swansea City.
Former Hearts of Oak coach Mohammed Polo believes Ghana Football Association should accept reports linking Black Stars coach Avram Grant to English Premier League side Swansea City.
The 60-year-old has been linked to the vacant seat alongside Gus Poyet and Brendan Rogers after the dismissal of Gary Monk.
“Grant can go! Didn’t Kwesi Appiah take us to the World Cup as a local coach?” Polo told Happy FM.
“Why do GFA keep these kinds of coaches for? We should let him go and develop our own. He has brought us nothing new to the team.
“His performance is the same and even enjoying what Kwesi Appiah started,” he added.
However, Grant's agent Saif Rabie has rubbished links to his client insisting that no formal contact has been made by Swansea.
“On the record, just to say as Avram Grant's agent that he is happy as the coach of @ghanafaofficial Blackstars. @SwansOfficial not in touch,” Rubie posted on Twitter.
Grant has one year left on his contract which ends in 2017.
