Ghana’s Kwadwo Asamoah returned from injury to play in Juventus Coppa Italia triumph over Inter-Milan on Wednesday night.
Asamoah lasted 86 minutes for his side as they cruised to the next round after winning 5-3 on penalties.
Marcelo Brozovic's brace and a goal from Ivan Perisic cancelled out Juventus 3-0 advantage in the first leg as they game travelled to penalty shootouts.
The Italian Champions however scored all five kicks to set at date at the finals with AC Milan
The Ghanaian international had been nursing an injury for the past three weeks after picking up a thigh strain against the same opponent in the first leg match.
His return will serve as a massive boost for Black Stars coach Avram Grant ahead of Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique later this month.
