Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, has cautioned the general public to desist from the sale of fake replica jerseys of the club.
A statement from the Public Relations outfit of the club said, the Board of Directors and the Strategic Committee, are unhappy with the way and manner replica jerseys were being sold on the market with profits going into individual pockets.
The statement cautioned the general public, especially those selling the club’s replica jerseys and souvenirs to desist from the practice with immediate effect or be prepared to face the law.
"Those found to be selling either of these materials would be arrested and prosecuted," it noted.
The statement said, club will soon introduce onto the market, original replica jerseys/souvenirs from the kit sponsors of the club.
It urged interested persons to contact the clubs secretariat in Accra for registration and guidelines on how to go about this business.
