Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi says his outfit will not stop Black Stars coach Avram Grant from leaving should he decide to relinquish his post.
Grant has hinted at a possible departure after the 2017 Cup of Nations in Gabon.
The former Chelsea boss in an interview with an Israeli radio station revealed he could return to England should he complete his deal with the Black Stars.
Nyantakyi in reacting to the Coach’s comment insist his outfit will not stop the 60-year-old from leaving.
“If he (Avram) decides not to continue, nobody can force him,” he told Starr FM.
“It could be his decision and we must respect that so if he decides to leave we won’t stop him.”
The former West Ham manager still has a running contract with the Ghana Football Association until January 2017.
The ex-Portsmouth trainer has been tasked to win the 2017 Cup of Nations with the Black Stars.
