Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama says the win at AshantiGold on Sunday has restored their self-confidence.
Prior to Sunday’s match at the Len Clay Sports Stadium, the Phobians had gone four matches without including their elimination from the MTN FA Cup.
Striker Cosmos Dauda bagged a brace before defender Awudu Nafiu pulled one back.
The match served as a dress rehearsal for Monday’s Ghana Premier League derby against Asante Kotoko in Accra.
Soulama believes they are back on track.
"I think we don’t have any secret, it is the hard work we are doing in the team. Now I think our confidence has come, the fighting spirit is there too," the Burkina Faso international told the club’s Facebook account.
"Then I congratulate all my players, the technical team, the board chairman and fans because anywhere we go, they are following us. I give a lot of credit to our fans."
