The Premier League Board (PLB) have ordered Clubs to observe a minute silence in the Ghana Premier League this weekend.
The minute silence is to remember the victims of the May 9 disaster at the Accra Sports Stadium.
This year marks exactly 15 years when several souls were lost during an epic clash between Ghana’s most glamorous Clubs Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Over 127 souls were confirmed dead in the tragic incident at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Premier League Board has hence directed all 16 Clubs to observe a minute silence at the various League centers this weekend.
Players will also be in black armbands as part of the remembrance of the dead souls.
