Ghana U20 team lost 2-1 to Ethiopia in the first leg of their 2017 African Youth Championship qualifier in Addis Ababa on Sunday afternoon.
The Ethiopians scored all two goals under ten minutes and went ahead to dominate the first half of the game.
Just when it looked like the game was going to end 2-0 in favour of the home team, Jonathan Osabutey managed to reduce the deficit for the Black Satellites with a fine finish.
The second leg of the qualifier will be played in Ghana in a fortnight.
