Former Black Satellites Coach Sellas Tetteh has urged the team to defeat Senegal in today’s qualifier at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Ghana will host their counterparts in the second leg qualifier of the Africa Youth Championship.
Coach Didi Dramani and his team will have to record a convincing result in other to qualify for the competition in Zambia.
Sellas Tetteh who guided the team to a historic Gold medal feat at the 2009 FIFA World Youth Championship in Egypt has backed the team to defeat Senegal tomorrow.
“I have monitored the team for some time now and I think they can progress,” he spoke to Ghana Sports Newspaper.
“Even though they lost against Senegal in the first leg match I strongly believe they can overturn the score line to qualify.
“It is not going to be an easy game, but I am very sure they will qualify looking at the kind of coach who is in charge now.
“Everyone knows the pedigree of Didi so I am optimistic the team can beat Senegal on Friday.”
Ghana is chasing a fifth successive appearance at the Africa Youth Championship.
