Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah led Juventus to defeat Tottenham Hotspurs 2-1 in an international Cup Championship match on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old was handed the captains arm band by his Coach Massimilino Allegri and played the role as a leader on the field.
The Ghanaian international helped his team to beat the English side to maintain their 100% record in their preseason so far.
New signings Miralem Pjanic and Medhi Benatia were the goal scorers for Juventus with Erik Lamela getting the consolation for Spurs.
Asamoah who had previously captained his side in their preseason match against Melbourne Victory could be given another opportunity to lead the side in their next game against South China.
