English Club Crystal Palace have bid €12million for Ghanaian international Abdul Majeed Waris.
Palace boss Alan Pardew is said to have contacted Lorient to release their striker as the end of the transfer window inches closer.
The 24-year-old is expected to beef-up the attack for Palace despite securing the services of former Liverpool striker Christian Benteke.
Waris caught the eyes of the English Club after his outstanding performance for Lorient last season where he bagged 12 goals for the Ligue 1 outfit.
The former BK Hacken goal poacher could be joining the likes of Andre Ayew, Albert Adomah, Daniel Amartey and Jeffery Schlupp in the English Premier League.
