The Sports Ministry will not issue any special bonus to the Black Stars for their FIFA World Cup qualifier against Egypt.

Reports were rife the Minister was planning to increase the bonuses of the Black Stars players for the crucial game in Alexandria.

Ghanasportsonline.com’s sources at the Ministry indicate the sector Minister had not taken such decision hence the bonuses of the players remain at $8,000.

The Black Stars have been heavily criticized for the huge bonuses received for qualifying matches.

Sports Minister Hon. Nii Lantey Vanderpujye recently agreed with the players to have their winning bonuses slash from $10,000 to $8,000.

The team is currently in Dubai (UAE) preparing for the big game on Sunday.
