Black Stars attacker Jordan Ayew was adjudged the man-of-the-match in the team’s 2-1 win over DR Congo on Sunday.
The Aston Villa forward scored the opening goal for the Black Stars after taking a nice curler from the edge of the penalty box.
Jordan Ayew’s excellent finish had been cancelled by Paul-José M'Poku before Andre Ayew converted from a spot kick after Christian Atsu was brought down in the penalty box by Joyce Lomalisa.
Ayew made no mistake as he sent Congo goalkeeper Ley Matampi the wrong way.
The 24-year (Jordan Ayew) becomes the third Ghanaian to win the man-of-the-match accolade after Christian Atsu and Thomas Partey.
The Black Stars will now take on Cameroon in the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.
