Former Ghana Football Association president Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe is surprised Kwasi Appiah is highly fancied to become head coach of the Black Stars again following the departure of Avram Grant.
The search for a new trainer for the senior national team has intensified with the number reportedly whittled down to three or four after over 100 hundred coaches applied for the job.
Apparently, the GFA is under pressure from the public to appoint the Sudan-based coach for the second time in five years as they believe Appiah is the right man to improve the fortunes of the country in 2018 World cup qualifiers.
However, for the outspoken administrator, Nyaho Tamakloe, he doubts if Appiah has the credentials to handle the team and has warned the FA against his re-appointment.
''Appiah was a complete failure when he took over the Black Stars and he was sacked for non-performance so what has changed that he wants to come back''?,'' the astute administrator told the Graphic Sports.
''He lacked the ability to read through games and design proper strategies to counter his opponents during matches.
''Appiah was unable to control his players to the extent that they disregarded his instructions with impunity.''
‘’I am shocked he(Appiah) applied for the job’’
Appiah now handles Sudanese top-flight side Al Khartoum SC and was voted as the best coach in the country last year.

Nyaho Tamakloe is a desperate citizen,He will soon Expire. His contribution will no longer be a valuable to our dear nation.Ignore that guy who don't know what's coming tomorrow!
When will black people learn from their mistakes, You let your brother build a team and a white guy used the team to make money for two years. Now look at the team, it is even difficult to qualify for the world cup. why do we always think our own are not good. IF we stop the corruption, 10% bribe and allow our locals free room to operate, we will achieve great things. Nyaho is a disgrace and disappointed. Are you God? don't just look at people and undermine them. What have you achieved? 2014 ghana play best game with Germany in the tourment. Nyaho is a political ***barred word***.
I wonder what this man wants. He said Nana Addo dankwa Akufo-Addo could never be president. He should ***barred word***.
The spoiler."Anglu Baatamia" This Tamakloe man is just a spoiler. This man just dey spoil Left and right. Just everybody is about to agree this Man as usual has started muddy the waters. shaiiieeeee. Wonders shall never end. The spoiler "Anglu Baatamia"
HOW DO YOU ASSESS AND COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT AKWASI APPIAH WAS FIRED FOR NON-PERFORMANCE? FOR THE RECORDS, AKWASI APPIAH WAS FIRED AND USED AS A SCAPE GOAT BY YOU NDC CORRUPT GANG TO COVER UP THEIR UNPROFESSIONAL AND TAX-PAYERS FUNDS THAT WERE MISUSED IN BRASIL. JUST KEEP THAT BIG AND ***barred word*** MOUTH SHUT!!!!!!
FOR ONCE, I DO AGREE WITH THIS MAN. WE MUST ASK OURSELVES WHAT HAS CHANGED WITH MR. APPIAH? IN AS MUCH AS I ADMIRE HIM FOR HIS FORWARD THINKING WHEN IT COMES TO COACHING, HIS INABILITY TO MANAGE BIG ERGO LIMIT HIS CREDENTIAL AS A NATIONAL COACH FOR A COUNTRY WHOSE NATIONAL TEAM IS DOMINATED MOSTLY FOREIGN BASED PLAYERS WITH BIG ERGO. IF HE DOES GET THIS JOB ONCE MORE, HE SHOULD WORK ON THAT ASPECT OF HIS MANAGEMENT SKILLS AND PUT HIS PERSONAL FEELINGS ASIDE. MY HUMBLE OPINION THOUGH.
I think nyaho is right. appiah is not a good coach
Don't mind this simlpa panyin, he has no credibility whatsoever left, he better shut his crooked beak or else....omanborfuo!!!
Is he not the same guy who said Nana Addo can never be president but now who is the president of Ghana. He has lost credibility so he should just ***barred word*** and let intelligent people talk and discuss football. Just ***barred word*** for we have enough of your loose talk.
