Coach Kwesi Appiah is expected to arrive in Ghana on Friday to kick-start his two-year association with the Black Stars.
The 56-year-old is expected to put pen-to-paper on the long term deal after agreeing personal terms with the Ghana FA.
The Ghana FA settled on the former Khartoum Watani gaffer as Avram Grant's replacement.
Appiah is expected to begin his second stint with the West Africans, two years after he was sacrificed for the country's 2014 wrecked World Cup campaign.
